Once you discuss your book with our Senior Consultant, you are advised on the best solution based on your specific requirements. The first step is to sign up with us. We then assign dedicated resources to your project, add you on our online portal, ask you to submit your materials and answer a questionnaire form to kick-start the process.
Review of Manuscript & Finalization for Recording Purposes
After studying your questionnaire and speaking initially with your dedicated Project Manager, we provide you with a concrete plan of action according to your project's specific requirements. If, however, you are seeking our comprehensive audiobook service, our first task is to review your manuscript and ensure that it is 100% ready for recording purposes so that we are confident it creates the impact you want on your listeners. We share suggested improvements on the script to you and only implement them once you approve them on your end. No whole-sale changes on the text are made, all suggestions go through you, and you (the author) has complete control over the finalized script for recording purposes.
Voice-Over Artist/Narrator Selection
If you require voice-over recording (or narration) as part of our service, once you on-board with us, your project manager has an initial discussion with you and then shares with you samples of voice-over artists/narrators based on your preferences (such as preferred gender, accent, etc. which we expect you to mention on the questionnaire). This step is often taken along with Step 2, so that we can ensure your selected voice-over artist/narrator is engaged on your project from the get-go.
Professional Recording & Finalization
After you have selected your voice-over artist/narrator and approved the final script, we commence the process to record your audiobook. We share with you updates regularly so you stay directly connected to the progress we make. Throughout the recording process, your feedback is vital to ensure the final product turns out as per your expectations. You may request revisions during this process. Once you approve the final recording, we finalize it for publishing purposes. This would entail mastering the audio file so that the end-product is of the highest quality possible.
Audiobook Formatting (Conversion from mp3 to AA format)
We finalize your audiobook in MP3, M4B and WAV formats. However, in order for us to publish your audiobook on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes, we convert your audiobook into AA format. We are nearly done with the audiobook creation process.
Cover Design/Integration for Publishing Purposes
If you do not have a cover designed for your audiobook, our book designers share a few designs based on your book's topic and your preferences. Once you pick out the design you like most, we finalize it so that it can be utilized for publishing purposes. If you already have a cover design ready that you are happy with, we do not design new ones as part of this step.
Publishing on Audible, Amazon and iTunes
After your approval of the voice-over recording and cover, we will submit the finalized version of the audiobook to you and publish it on Amazon, Audible and iTunes on your behalf. The audiobook will be published under your name which means you have complete ownership rights and copyrights to the product; hence, we will not be entitled to any royalties from future sales of your audiobook in this arrangement. Also, within this step, we create unique author and book profiles for your listings which we keyword-optimize to ensure we organically attract your book's relevant target audiences. Throughout this entire process, if you require any changes on the work we do, you have the facility of requesting unlimited revisions to ensure you are 100% satisfied.
